Here’s Rachel and Lisa- TWINS! We had to reschedule their shoot not once, but twice, and finally on our third try we got good weather. It was worth the wait though, I loved working with these two!

Jamie and Taylor- Class of 2011

Here’s Jamie and Taylor- two best friends that did their senior pics within days of each other.

First Jamie- she started out a little nervous, but VERY quickly got the hang of it and turned into a full-on model for me with some of the most natural smiles and laughter. I love your pics Jamie!

And here’s Taylor! She’s a swimmer and didn’t mind pouring water all over her hair at the end of the shoot. Actually, after a couple of hours of shooting in 100 degree humidity, I think it was a relief! I almost joined her!

And of course, the quintessential best friends pic! Thanks girls! I had a blast working with both of you!

Katie-Class of 2011

This beauty with her enormous brown eyes and movie star hair kept insisting during her shoot that she is “not photogenic.” Sorry Katie, but I disagree! You are beautiful, in “real life” and in pictures. I had a blast working with you!

Lily-Class of 2011

About a week before Lily’s shoot I started getting facebook messages and texts from other kids at Lily’s school about how much I was going to LOVE Lily. And they were right! I did love her! Red hair, freckles, and tons of enthusiasm, what’s not to love? She brought best friend Megan, and I always love seeing my seniors again. (Plus Megan acted as assistant extraordinaire. Thanks Megan!) We shot until we were literally out of light, and I was cranking the ISO on my camera because I did not want this shoot to end! Thanks Lily!!

Betsy- Class of 2011 (plus Sammy and Sophie)

Betsy came from Grand Island for her shoot, and brought her two adorable dogs along with her. Everyone who know me knows how much I love dogs, but sometimes they can be difficult to photograph. But Sammy and Sophie were the coolest dogs ever! Betsy was also a rock star in front of the camera, and she’s a theatre kid, (like me!) She brought her awesome vintage bike that she used when she played Miss Gulch in her high school production of The Wizard of Oz. Sophie, the Cairn Terrior, (aka, a “Toto” dog,) was even willing to pose in the basket of Besty’s bike. Pretty cool!

And here’s little Sophie. It didn’t take her long to find her inner model.

Jessie- Class of 2011

This is the third sister from this family that I’ve had in front of my lens, and they have ALL been gorgeous. Jessie was no exception, and I know it’s hard to believe that someone that looks this beautiful could be pretty on the inside too, but Jessie is! She’s a total sweetheart, and wasn’t afraid to be a little silly in front of the camera, which I loved!

Krista- Class of 2011

A lot of dancers have great technique, but it’s rare to find one that dances with their soul. I first noticed Krista in a ballet class a couple of years ago, and I could tell just from watching her in class that she was one of those dancers. There is an indefinable quality that some dancers possess- a natural awareness of line and style, an ability to convey emotion through movement-and it’s something that can’t be taught. Krista has all of those qualities, plus a great personality, and she’s humble and nice too! There are no limits for you, Krista! I can’t wait too see what you do with your dance career!
